2012 Wedding Trends: My Top 10 Forecasts

With everyone recapping the top wedding trends of 2011, I thought I'd flash forward to forecasting what I think will be the Top 10 Trends of 2012!  So as we said goodbye to 2011, the year of the "DIY vintage wedding", I'd like to say hello to 2012: the year of ELEGANCE.

Now, I don't think vintage is going away anytime soon, but instead of the crafty DIY vintage, I think we'll see a more elegant, feminine and classic vintage style in what I like to call "vintage remixed: inspired by the decades."  From 1920s Great Gatsby inspired to old Hollywood glamour to 1970s disco glam to elegant black & white affairs (tuxedos!) to feminine touches (lace, pearls & long veils) to outdoor elegance and more!  In addition we'll see influences from the media & pop culture, such as the Twilight wedding, Gossip Girl wedding, Kim Kardashian's infamous wedding & the very Royal Wedding.... and as they say in Hello Dolly (and because I love musicals) ~ "We got elegance, If you ain't got elegance, You can never ever carry it off"Without further ado...
