Lauren Gregor is the Founder and CEO of Rent-a-Romper, a baby and toddler subscription rental clothing company that offers affordable children’s clothes for rent that are both cute and functional, without adding to our increased landfill waste as a society.

As a mom of two boys ages 5 and 7, Lauren grew increasingly frustrated with the build up of boxes and waste in her house, specifically around clothing. She decided to take action and not only solve her problem, but do so in an eco-friendly and sustainably conscious way.

Lauren launched Rent-a-Romper literally at the beginning of COVID when everyone was headed into lockdown while simultaneously working full-time for a charter school and facilitating distance learning for her two boys.

In this episode we go into the details on how she took her idea from a business card to a real business overnight without any background in subscription e-commerce, lessons she’s learned in the first year, the team she surrounds herself with, and how she structures her day, while still working full-time.
